I finally deleted all my images I had up on here that were filled with your comments, features, and favorites. Thanks for the support but I'm more of a flickr girl now. And take a peek at what I don't normally post on flickr via my blog.
I think it's time I left this site, I feel bad in doing so because I've come across such great artists here, but it's time to move on to other web worlds. You can friend me on flickr here [link] and follow through with my life thanks to my photo blog here [link]
I want to see more diptychs. I haven't seen an inspirational one in a long time. So share with me your favorites- whether it be your own, or someone you personally admire, it doesn't matter. Just the inspiration, that's all that really matters.
Is it such a crime to snag books off of cold corporate shelves? I believe that the only thing you should pay for is your own self indulgence in a good read. Expansion of the minds should be free.
I'm thinking of snatching a couple Haruki Murakami books from the store sometime soon. Particularly, Elephant Vanishes and his strange titled tale Hardboiled Wonderland & The End of the World.
I can recall back in the third grade when I took home a copy of Amelia Bedelia and never gave it back. In fifth grade I had my teacher's version of Mutiny on the Bounty and read that way past my bed time.
I'm obviously not a book returner when it comes down to it, or else believe me, I would check something out at a library. I still have hard cover copies of the fall of the Aztecs and fatal Mayan ball game from when I had a history report last semester. But have you been to your local library lately? Nothing would ever strike my interest.
